Listen & Adjust

In our quarterly Board meeting tonight, I shared the idea that Executive Leadership is often about listening and adjusting.

Listen to and adjust to the voices of your customers, staff, congregation, partners, vendors, consultants, etc.

If you can develop a habit of listening with a spirit of curiosity instead of a spirit of defensiveness, well, now you've got something.

Because when you listen with curiosity, you gain a deeper understanding of where to apply your resources, strategies, and time.

Hey, leaders, listen and adjust.

Don't listen and defend.

Listen with a spirit of curiosity.

You will lead better.
