The premise

Success is not an
individual endeavor.

As Bono once sang, "Sometimes you can't make it on your own." And we agree. Besides, why would you want to?

We are not meant to go it alone in life, leadership, and business. Success is not an individual endeavor. It takes knowledge, creativity, and the experience of people who have been there before us, through the successes and the failures. And there will be failures. But that is where we learn and grow, together.

Dan has launched three companies as an entrepreneur, two of which were highly successful and one that failed miserably. As a corporate executive, he has traveled the world collaborating with global giants such as Google, Facebook, HP, Nike, and Burton Snowboards.

Currently serving as Executive Pastor at Sandals Church, Dan is a driving force behind building a dream team dedicated to spiritual growth and community impact.

Dan's expertise includes building a transformational multi-generational culture, breakthrough strategies and scaling up, vision and strategic development, executive coaching, career mapping, crisis-healing support, and more. He values tailored fit and bringing significant value to both the individual and the organization.

The process

A simple,
proven path.

One clear process, whether you're a church, a business, or an individual. Four steps that turn where you are into where you're going.

  1. 01

    Discovery

I start by grasping where you are and how you got here: the history of the church, the business, or the person. Honest assessment too, including Enneagram, DiSC, and StrengthsFinder for individuals.

  2. 02

    Planning

One simple, documented plan. Where you're going, what gets measured, the major milestones and gates, and the strategies to get there.

  3. 03

    Execution

The doing of the plan, with a regular rhythm of reviewing where it stands and adjusting as reality unfolds.

  4. 04

    Review

A look back at the full cycle. What was accomplished, where value was created, and what to change for the next engagement or season.

Areas of expertise

What I'm
known for.

Five disciplines, built over three decades across the boardroom and the church. They travel together: people, vision, culture, intelligence, and growth that lasts.

  1. 01

    People Selection & Development

One thing that hasn't changed through the generations is the imperative to select and develop great people to do their life's work.

  2. 02

    Organizational Vision & Strategy

A clear vision and the strategy to reach it, with an operating rhythm that keeps it honest month after month.

  3. 03

    Culture Building & Development

Culture eats vision for lunch. Define it on purpose, or a few personalities will define it for you.

  4. 04

    AI Strategy & Deployment

Bringing AI into your organization with clarity and conviction, built for the way your team actually works.

  5. 05

    Growth & Scale

Starting, fixing, scaling. The healthy, sustained kind of growth that holds long after I'm gone.

The right fit

I do my best work with organizations in motion.

Starting something new. Fixing something broken. Scaling something that's working. Church or business, if you're in motion and the stakes are real, that's my room.

  • StartingStartup mode, from a one-page plan to a living organization.
  • FixingFix-it mode, turn a season of survival into the healthiest year yet.
  • ScalingGrowth mode, build the systems that let it multiply.
Success is what happens
after you're gone.

A true leader who empowers others
"A true leader empowers others through faith, wisdom, and example. Dan's strength is rooted in Christ, his heart is shaped by service, and his life is a beacon guiding others toward greatness."
Laura EasleyCOO, Transportation Insight (Ret.)
Dan sees what you can't see
"Dan sees what you can't see about your own leadership, then hands you the tools and roadmap to grow into it. His wisdom is matched only by his encouragement, and every conversation with him moves me forward. I'm incredibly grateful for his guidance."
Joe SadlerFounder & Creative Director, The ii Agency
My best decisions start with Dan
"My best decisions start with Dan. As the scale of my business choices has grown, so has the wisdom they demand, and Dan has raised my wisdom quotient dramatically, offering sharp feedback on my ideas while surfacing the blind spots in my strategic thinking."
Nathanael BalonFounder, Do Good Work
